About Emmaus Lambeth

Emmaus Lambeth CommunityEmmaus Lambeth is one of 24 Emmaus communities in the UK and one of over 350 communities worldwide.

Emmaus was founded in France in 1948 and gives men and women who’ve experienced homelessness a community to live in and a sense of purpose. The people who come and live at Emmaus are called ‘companions’.

The companions work in our business selling good quality donated furniture from our shops in West Norwood and Brixton.  Our dynamic and friendly working environment gives companions new work skills, re-builds their lives and helps others in greater need.
